4. How can I get CDs, T-shirts etc.?
You can buy them at our shows, by visiting our "merchandise" page or at Hastings in Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Las Cruces.
5. How many Cd's has the band recorded?
Nosotros recorded their first Cd "Palomo" in 1996. It is currently out of print but maybe reproduced in the future. In 2000, Nosotros recorded "Pico" and in 2003 Nosotros released "Nosotros". The band is about to enter the studio to work on their fourth album.
6. How many members are in your group?
Seven, but on any given night, you may find someone sitting in with Nosotros. Our list of sit in guests is very extensive and includes several musicians well known in the area and abroad.
Some of our local regulars include: Tony Quinones (congas), Camilo Quinones (percussion), Arnold Cardon (Guitar), Thomas Ruiz (vocals), Joaquin Gallegos (Guitar), Hugo Moreno (trumpet), Alex Maryol (Guitar) and Lester Reyes (Percussion) who also makes a guest appearance on our "Pico" CD.
We have had the pleasure of having internationally known musicians sit in with us when they are passing through the area, such as: Steve Smith (Mandolin); Los Mocosos (percussion & vocals); Cesar Rosas front man for the world famous group Los Lobos (vocals); Munyungo Jackson session percussionist whose performance credits include Stevie Wonder, Miles Davis and Anita Baker; John Hayes from Cassandra Wilson's jazz group (Percussion); flamenco great Yiyi (cajon); flamenco guitarist Chuscales (guitar); and World renowned viloinst, Farzad who also makes a guest appearance on our "Nosotros" CD.
